It then works out how it would cost you to vape instead. By working out the difference, we can see how much you can save by swapping to e-cigarettes. <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let\u2019s look at an example. Let\u2019s say you smoke 140 cigarettes per week and pay \u00a310 per pack of twenty. That works out to \u00a33,640 per year. In contrast, a budget vaping setup could cost as little as \u00a3169.80 per year. That amount is enough for one box mod, seventy-three bottles of eliquid, seventeen coils and four replacement batteries \u2014 more than enough for a twenty-a-day smoker. <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even if you went for a midrange setup and spent four times as much on vaping (\u00a3679.20), that\u2019s still a saving of \u00a32,960.80 every year. <\/span><\/h3>\n<h2><b>How much does smoking cost on average?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ash.org.uk\/files\/documents\/ASH_106.pdf\">According to ASH<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the average smoker in the UK smokes eleven cigarettes per day at a cost of \u00a31,800 per year. They also say that a 20-a-day premium-brand smoker will spend about \u00a33,600 per year on cigarettes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nottingham.ac.uk\/news\/pressreleases\/2012\/october\/university-research-reveals-smokers-take-27-extra-sick-days-per-year.aspx\">Research from the University of Nottingham<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> shows that on average, smokers take an additional 2.7 days off sick each year compared to non-smokers. This can mean a reduced pay package for self-employed or freelance smokers. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>How much does vaping cost on average?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So we\u2019ve seen that over the course of a year smoking becomes a very expensive habit. But how does vaping compare?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First-time vapers usually prefer disposable cigarettes that mimic the appearance and effect of traditional cigarettes. Once you\u2019re accustomed to e-cigarettes, we recommend you try a more advanced product, such a <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrictobacconist.co.uk\/box-mods-c37\">box mod<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Box mods aren\u2019t disposable, instead, you fill them up with e-liquid when they run dry. Value e-liquid costs as little as \u00a31 per 10 ml, whereas premium e-liquid can cost as much as \u00a319.99 per bottle. Seventy-three 10 ml bottles of e-liquid should cover most smokers for an entire year, and if you take the economical option that adds up to just \u00a373.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lastly, you\u2019ll need to <\/span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrictobacconist.co.uk\/coils-c51\">replace your coil<\/a><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> every three weeks or so.
