Though not essential, many people’s vape experience would not be the same without their drip tip. Drip tips are non-essential vaping accessories that sit on top of your atomiser. Whether you use a sub-ohm tank, an RDA or RTA the drip tip is the final bit of kit which connects you with your mod. Drip tips work by dripping the e-liquid through the hole in the tip and you’re ready to vape.
Similar to a mouthpiece for your vaping kit, drip tips come in a wide range of shapes, sizes and materials to cater to different types of vaper. They may seem like a small and irrelevant element of your mod, they can vastly change your overall vape experience.
Why do I need a Drip Tip?
Drip tips remove the need for cartridges or cartomisers and allow for a much more flavour-packed vaping experience. Your chosen e-liquid is ‘dripped’ directly into the tip so you experience a more intense vape every time.
Drip tips look simply like mouthpieces, although there are many different styles and they all have their benefits. From steel drip tips to glass drip tips and simple plastic drip tips to acrylic designs, there are so many different options most vapers will try a few before finding the right one for their needs. Some e-cigarette brands offer their own range of drip tips, such as TABLites but there are also lots of universal and standard drip tips on the market.
New drip tip users may find them a little difficult to get used to. The process of the liquid being directly dripped onto the tip can be messy if you’re not used to it so it is important to spend some time getting used to your new setup. The reward for a little more mess is a far more intense and flavour-driven experience.
