Edge Go+ Vape Range: A Review
I’ve tested a lot of pod vape kits over the years, and most of them tend to fall into one of two camps. They’re either so stripped back that they feel underpowered and forgettable, or they try to cram in so many features that they lose the convenience people actually buy pod vapes for in the first place. Luckily, the Edge Go+ sat comfortably in the middle for me.
After spending some time using both the device and the full pod range, what stood out to me most was how consistent everything felt. Nothing about it felt flashy or overengineered, but it was clear to me that a lot of thought had gone into the actual day-to-day vaping experience. It felt designed around practicality and convenience rather than gimmicks, and honestly, that’s probably why I ended up liking it more than I expected to.

First Impressions of the Edge Go+ Kit
The first thing I noticed when I picked up the Edge Go+ was how lightweight it felt, even though it’s not necessarily a compact kit - I’d say it’s just standard size. Some pod kits end up feeling cheap because of that, but this didn’t. It still felt solid in my hand, and the slightly streamlined shape made it comfortable for me to carry around without creating that awkward bulge in my pocket.
The design also felt clean and simple to me. I wasn’t dealing with unnecessary buttons, complicated menus, or a massive screen dominating the front of the device. It felt approachable immediately, especially when I imagined myself as someone completely new to vaping. I’ve been vaping for quite a while now, and I still prefer devices that have little-to-none customisation features and are easy to use; the Edge Go+ gets an A from me in that respect!
The LED battery indicator was a small touch, but one I appreciated quite a lot while using it. I’m someone who constantly forgets to charge devices until they’re practically dead, so being able to quickly check battery levels at a glance ended up being more useful to me than I expected. By the way, if you’re a vaper reading this, please don’t follow my example - letting your vape die will deteriorate the battery over time, making it not last as long as it could.
Also, speaking of charging, the 1500mAh battery genuinely impressed me. I comfortably got through a full day and a half of vaping without feeling anxious about battery life, even when I was using it heavily. Then when it did eventually need a top-up, the USB-C fast charging made a noticeable difference for me. Going from low battery to fully charged in roughly half an hour (sorry, I didn’t time this, but that’s how long it felt) made the whole experience feel low-maintenance.
Edge Go+ Performance
Sadly, a lot of pod kits vape well when the battery is full, then gradually lose intensity as the charge drops; that’s just the nature of their design, unless they specifically have technology built in to combat this. I used the Edge Go+ for about two days, and it didn’t really behave like that during my testing, which I’m super pleased about.
This consistency is one of the biggest strengths of the device for me. The chipset inside kept flavour delivery feeling steady throughout the battery cycle, which meant the vape felt just as satisfying to me later in the day as it did straight off charge. That probably sounds like a small thing on paper, but in practice it completely changed how reliable the device felt to me over time.
The draw activation also felt very responsive while I was using it. There was no delay or awkward lag when I inhaled, and the airflow adjustment actually gave me meaningful control instead of feeling cosmetic. I mostly kept it half open to get the best of both worlds (this is my preference across all vape devices), but having it fully closed produced a fairly tight mouth-to-lung inhale, while opening it fully gave me a surprisingly enjoyable restricted direct-to-lung vape, too. This flexibility made the kit feel suitable for a much wider range of users than a typical beginner pod system.

Edge Go+ Pods
The Edge Go+ pods were probably one of my favourite parts of the entire range. I tested both the pre-filled and refillable options, and I honestly thought Edge handled the balance between convenience and flexibility really well here.
The magnetic click and go connection felt simple but satisfying for me to use. Pods snapped into place securely, and I could swap between pre-filled pod flavours in seconds. These small usability details genuinely made a difference to me when I was using the device every day. The clear e-liquid window was another feature I appreciated more over time. I didn’t have to constantly remove pods or guess how much e-liquid was left, which helped me avoid dry hits entirely during testing.
Pre-filled Edge Go+ Pods
The pre-filled pods were clearly aimed at convenience, and for me, they absolutely succeeded there. Each pod came preloaded with 2ml of EDGE LIQ nic salt e-liquid, so there was basically no setup involved for me - I just inserted the pod and started vaping immediately.
What surprised me most was the flavour consistency. Pre-filled pod vapes can sometimes taste muted after a while, but these stayed surprisingly clean and punchy throughout my use. However, this could, again, be attributed to the chip inside the Edge Go+ that maintains flavour performance regardless of battery life.
I tried several flavours from the range, and I found there was a really good mix of fruity, icy, and sweeter profiles depending on what I was in the mood for. Blue Razz Lemonade was one of the standouts for me; I got that sharp blue raspberry edge balanced with a fizzy citrus finish that shined in pod form. Pink Lemonade was another flavour I kept going back to because it felt light and refreshing to me without becoming overly sweet after extended use. Sweet Strawberry Ice also worked particularly well for me because of the cooler inhale - I’d say these three flavours were my favourites across the entire collection. What I also liked overall was that the flavours felt distinct from one another. Personally, pod ranges sometimes blur together after a while, especially in heavily fruit-focused collections, but I didn’t really get much of that here.

Edge Go+ Refillable Pods
I definitely ended up preferring the refillable pods overall, mainly because I like having freedom with my e-liquid choices - this is a comfort zone for me, as I use a refillable vape kit daily. The integrated 0.8ohm coil delivered noticeably strong flavour for me without making the vape feel overly aggressive. I tested both nic salts and standard freebase e-liquids in them, and both performed well in my experience; however, I generally gravitate towards nic salts.
Refilling also felt straightforward to me. I just removed the drip tip, filled through the top port, then left the pod for a few minutes so the coil could saturate properly. This is more or less the same filling process for all vape kits, so it wasn’t revolutionary, but it did feel clean and practical during everyday use.
What impressed me most was how consistent the flavour stayed over time, much like the pre-filled Edge Go+ pods. Edge mentions a calibrated output with a slight flavour boost at the start of each inhale, and I certainly picked up on this while vaping. Every puff felt full and immediate to me, especially with sweeter fruit flavours. The refillable pods also seemed to strike a nice middle ground between vapour production and battery efficiency in my experience. I got a satisfying amount of vapour without feeling like I was draining the battery excessively.

Who I Think the Edge Go+ is Best for
After using the full range properly, I personally think the Edge Go+ works particularly well for three types of people:
- Firstly, newer vapers who want something uncomplicated but still high quality. I felt like the learning curve was basically non-existent.
- Secondly, disposable vape users looking for a more cost-effective, long-term option post-ban. The overall experience felt familiar enough to me that I think the transition would be easy.
- Finally, existing vapers who are just tired of overly complicated pod systems and want something dependable for everyday use.
Personally, the vapes that stand out are the ones that are the most simple to use, and for that reason, I categorise myself in the third type. The Edge Go+ has lots of features, but they’re automatic rather than customised manually - it didn’t try to reinvent vaping, and I actually think that became part of its strength for me. The less time I have to spend fussing over the perfect settings, the more attractive a device becomes to me.
Final Thoughts On The Edge Go+ Range
The more I used the Edge Go+, the more I appreciated how well-rounded it felt. It felt simple without feeling basic, convenient without sacrificing performance, and flexible without becoming complicated. Most importantly, it felt reliable throughout the two days I tested it. The battery lasted longer than most kits I’ve used, the flavour stayed consistent, the pods were easy to use, and the entire system worked together in a way that felt very intentional and polished.
There are definitely more advanced devices out there, and there are certainly more powerful ones too. But for everyday vaping, especially if flavour, convenience, and ease of use matter most, I genuinely think the Edge Go+ range gets it spot on.
